A new recognition of VOLSUN’s commitment to material innovation and engineering applications
On September 17, 2026, the 2026 KPMG China Automotive Industry Summit and the 9th Automotive Technology 50 List Release took place in Shanghai. Bringing together professionals from the automotive, technology and investment sectors, the event focused on major industry developments including electrification, intelligent mobility and globalization.

At the award presentation held during the summit, VOLSUN was selected for the Leading Technology List of the “KPMG China Leading Automotive Technology Enterprises 50 (9th Edition).”
For VOLSUN, the recognition represents more than an industry honor. It also reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to connect material innovation with practical engineering needs.

Focusing on Four Key Material Areas
The rapid development of new energy vehicles is creating increasingly demanding requirements for materials. Higher voltage, faster motor speeds, greater power density and more compact system designs all place greater emphasis on material performance and reliability.
In response to these challenges, VOLSUN continues to develop its capabilities across four key areas: insulation, sealing, electrical conductivity and thermal management.
In insulation applications, VOLSUN focuses on protection solutions for high-voltage electrical systems, connections and critical wiring. Its sealing solutions, including cold-shrink materials and specialty polymers, are designed to provide environmental protection for important connection points.
For electrical conductivity applications, VOLSUN develops Shaft Grounding Ring solutions for electric motors. By providing a low-resistance path for shaft current, these solutions are designed to help reduce the risk of bearing electrical erosion.
Meanwhile, VOLSUN is also developing thermal interface pads, potting materials and related solutions for applications where effective thermal management is essential.

Moving Beyond Material Supply
VOLSUN’s approach is increasingly centered on understanding how materials perform within actual systems and operating conditions, rather than focusing solely on individual material specifications.
By combining material development with application requirements, the company is working to strengthen its capabilities in R&D, manufacturing and engineering applications, while developing solutions that are closer to customers’ real-world needs.
Being included in KPMG China’s Leading Automotive Technology Enterprises 50 marks another step in this ongoing development. Looking ahead, VOLSUN will continue to explore both material and application innovation, work with customers to address practical engineering challenges, and support automotive and industrial applications in global markets.
