Volsun's heat shrinkable wire identification sleeves are specifically designed for cable identification in rail transit systems, including high-speed trains, subways, and EMUs. Made from cross-linked, environmentally friendly polyolefin heat-shrinkable materials, these sleeves meet the ASTM D 2671 B standard and comply with the DIN 5510 and BS 6853 standards in Germany and the UK, respectively. Available in both fitting and continuous types, as well as 2:1 and 3:1 shrink ratios, these sleeves are highly flexible and convenient to use.
With a standard temperature rating of 125°C and a high level of flame resistance (VW-1), Volsun's heat shrinkable wire identification sleeves are also free of halogenated materials, making them suitable for use in the electronics, power, communication, and construction industries. These sleeves offer excellent resistance to abrasion and fading, and even after exposure to cleaning agents or military fuels, their color codes remain in compliance with the US military standards SAE-AS 81531 and MIL-STD-202F/215J, ensuring permanent identification.
Thanks to their high reliability and permanent identification properties, Volsun's heat shrinkable wire identification sleeves are also highly sensitive to heat and shrink quickly. They can be printed with any characters or trademark designs using computerized settings, making them the ideal choice for cable identification in rail transit systems.
